Here and on a few other linked sites I will be presenting my writing and talents for freelance consulting in creative, technical, and grant writing, as well as links to my own hobby related publications once they are available for print.

Writing and Get A Freelancer
I am signed up over at Get A Freelancer, Elance, SoloGig, few other spots it seems like.
So everyday I get multiple emails in my Writing category.
Budgets are $30 to $150
The buyer states the rate is a Dollar an Article (500 Words), which is high as an average over there.
So that equates to a Penny every 5 Words
Back in High School, I graduated in '81, the word rate for magazines was like 2 Cents a Word.
So for quality articles, no plagiarism, etc, I can expect to make
1 Penny per 5 Words compared to 2 Pennies per 1 Word = 10 Cents per 5 Words.
So one tenth 1/10 of what I dreamt of making as a writer 27 some years ago.

So how does that make us writers feel. This cannot help out the overall industry.
